Ka Hao – PTI NZ partnership: Empowering Indigenous Private Sector through e-Commerce

About the Project

PTI NZ has partnered with Ka Hao Indigenous e-Commerce to provide an intensive, skills training project in digital trade. Over the course of twelve weeks, successful applicants will learn from online workshops, peer learning led by Ka Hao’s network of e-Commerce experts through a systems-based approach to website build, maintenance, marketing, driving traffic, managing customer base, reaching new markets, managing online sales, and much more.

The full scholarship has a value of NZD 30,750 and will be awarded to eighteen motivated and driven applicants. Just by completing the application process, businesses and individuals will gain access to the online modules for their own learning, receive a six-month Shopify subscription, and learn skills to develop a successful mindset for e-Commerce and business.

384 business owners registered; 18 scholarships were awarded; recipients came from 12 FICs, represented in 9 industries.
