Samoa National E-commerce Policy

About the Project

The Samoa National E-commerce Policy will establish a comprehensive framework that outlines a long-term vision to foster trust, drive innovation, and expand participation across businesses, consumers, and underserved communities in e-commerce and digital trade. It positions e-commerce as a critical driver of economic diversification and integration into regional and global markets.

The policy directly fulfils measure 1.1.1 of the National E-commerce Strategy, which called for the formulation of the National E-commerce Policy. The policy will align with the strategy measures to enhance e-commerce readiness, including its focus on legal and regulatory reforms, digital payments and capacity building efforts for inclusive economic growth.
