Enhanced access to Education and Learning in South Malekula

About the Project

The Smart Islands Vanuatu Programme, targeting the rural population of South Malekula is working closely with the community to develop and implement a Smart Island Classroom. This initiative provides online bridging courses for school leavers and introduces new teaching and learning methods for better access and integration.

Project sites implementing the Smart Islands Vanuatu Program includes Malfakal, Bonvor, Farun, Renaur and Hokai villages, South Malekula Secondary School and Akhamb Island.
