Fiji National Payment System

About the Project

Fiji’s national payment system has achieved full, 24/7 interoperability between commercial banks and mobile network operators (Vodafone M-Paisa, Digicel MyCash) as of 2024–2025. This integration enables instant, real-time transfers for bank-to-wallet, wallet-to-bank, and wallet-to-wallet transactions, enhancing financial inclusion and supporting digital payments across the country. 

Key Aspects of Fiji’s Payment Integration:

Interoperability: Full integration between all banks and major mobile wallets (M-Paisa/MyCash) allows for seamless digital transactions.
