About the Project

The outcomes of the PNG E-commerce Strategy will be difficult to accomplish without a sound governance mechanism suitable to monitor, coordinate and provide strategic oversight over implementation.

The PNG National E-commerce Committee was established in August 2025. The National Trade Office (NTO) under the Ministry of International Trade and Investment covers the role of Secretariat to the Committee and takes the lead in implementing the initiatives under the strategy, ensuring a coordinated effort towards advancing e-commerce in PNG.
