PIFS ePulse program for Tonga

About the Project

To enhance ownership, transparency and accountability of the implementation of the Pacific Regional E-commerce Strategy and Roadmap, which is integrated into the Pacific E-commerce Portal. Building on this foundation, PIFS launched ePulse in February 2025 during the Aid-for-Trade Day. ePulse is an M&E system designed to assist Forum Island Countries (FICs) in tracking the implementation of their national e-commerce strategies through a customized web application, capacity-building initiatives, and ongoing technical support.

As part of this program, a designated M&E Officer from the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development of Tonga is seconded to the PIFS Pacific E-commerce Unit in Fiji for training and mentoring on using the ePulse system. Once the training is completed, this officer will work on developing a national M&E framework to monitor the progress of implementing Tonga National E-commerce Strategy, with continued ICT support provided.
