UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will host its second in-person Masterclass for women digital entrepreneurs from South-East Asia and the Pacific, including Timor-Leste, in Manila, Philippines, under the theme “Powering Growth & Impact for Women-Led Digital Businesses.” The Masterclass will bring together 22 women founders — including five participants from the Pacific and Timor-Leste — for four days of learning, exchange, and inspiration.
Participants will offer the opportunity to:
- Sharpen business skills through practical training sessions led by regional experts
- Exchange experiences with fellow women entrepreneurs tackling simillar challenges
- Expand networks with digital ecosystems actors and investors
- Engage in dialuge with governments represenateive to shape more inclusive digital policies
This Mastercalss is hosted by UNCTAD in collaboration with Ms Angeline Tham, eTrade for Women Advocate for South-East Asia and pacific and the economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA).
Select women businesses from the Pacific Islands shortlisted for this cohort are from Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
