E-commerce Business Training: Kiribati

About the Project

The PIFS E-commerce Business Toolkits are simple, step-by-step, example-based, guides for a hypothetical business wishing to explore the use of online tools to sell products and services in a given industry and a given geographical context.

With funding support from PDEP, the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) will deliver a one and a half day business training workshop in Kiribati in 2026.

‘Promotion and training’ is the second step of the PIFS E-Biz Plus. It involves a promotion of the benefits of using the toolkits and workshops or webinars that walk entrepreneurs through the toolkits and provide additional guidance on how to apply the information to their specific business. Following the workshop, trainers video record their course for businesses to be able to access them later on online. This material will be freely accessible to Pacific businesses on the eCove Community.

Through this project, PIFS will deliver a hybrid workshop in Kiribati.
