Papua New Guinea’s USD 120 million Pukpuk Connectivity Initiative, is a strategic investment to strengthen the country’s international and domestic telecommunications infrastructure through the development of three (3) new subsea cable systems. Supported by the Government of Australia, the initiative will deliver additional international cable connectivity to enhance network redundancy, resilience and bandwidth capacity, complementing existing infrastructure. The project aims to promote competition, improve service reliability and affordability, and advance PNG’s digital transformation and socio-economic development.
