The Pacific E-commerce Symposium is an event planned to address the lack of a dedicated regional platform where stakeholders in the digital economy can connect, share experiences, and develop collective solutions. It brings together policymakers, private sector actors, development partners, and implementing agencies to reflect on progress, exchange best practices, and explore innovative approaches to advancing e-commerce in the Pacific. Through high-level dialogues, panel discussions, and showcases of regional initiatives, the Symposium will highlight emerging trends, address persistent challenges, and foster collaboration. Ultimately, it aims to strengthen partnerships, support the implementation of the Pacific Regional E-commerce Strategy and Roadmap, and identify scalable, impactful solutions that drive inclusive digital trade across the region.
This program is planned to be held biannually, with the inaugural Pacific E-commerce Symposium confirmed to take place at the PIFS Headquarters in Suva, Fiji, from November 30th to December 4th, 2026.
