The Unified QR Code Program is an initiative aimed at supporting the development and adoption of interoperable QR code payment systems across Pacific Island countries. The program brings together national projects and initiatives that seek to establish common QR payment standards, improve interoperability between financial institutions and payment service providers, and make digital payments simpler, safer, and more accessible for businesses and consumers. Through these country-led efforts, the program supports the broader development of inclusive digital economies and strengthens the foundations for seamless domestic and, over time, cross-border digital payments across the Pacific.
