E-commerce Business Toolkits: Tuvalu

About the Project

The PIFS E-commerce Business Toolkits are simple, step-by-step, example-based, guides for a hypothetical business wishing to explore the use of online tools to sell products and services in a given industry and a given geographical context.

As part of the piloting of the PIFS E-commerce Business Plus Program (PIFS E-Biz Plus), the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) has developed two toolkits for Tuvalu.

‘Toolkits development and accessibility’ is the first step of the PIFS E-Biz Plus: a National E-commerce Expert works together with an International E-commerce Expert and an industry reference group to develop updated and tailored Business Toolkits aimed at supporting businesses’ online transition.

Through this project, PIFS developed  two toolkits:

  1. Using E-commerce to Help the Tourism Industry in Tuvalu; and
  2. Using E-commerce to Sell General Merchandise in Tuvalu.
