E-commerce Business Training: FSM, Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu

About the Project

The PIFS E-commerce Business Toolkits are simple, step-by-step, example-based, guides for a hypothetical business wishing to explore the use of online tools to sell products and services in a given industry and a given geographical context.

As part of the piloting of the PIFS E-commerce Business Plus Program (PIFS E-Biz Plus), the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) has delivered a three-half-day business workshop in Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu in January 2024 and in the Federate States of Micronesia in March 2024.

‘Promotion and training’ is the second step of the PIFS E-Biz Plus. It involves a promotion of the benefits of using the toolkits and workshops or webinars that walk entrepreneurs through the toolkits and provide additional guidance on how to apply the information to their specific business. Following the workshop, trainers video record their course for businesses to be able to access them later on online. This material is freely accessible to Pacific businesses on the eCove Community:

Through this project, PIFS delivered two hybrid workshops, one simultaneously held in Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu; and one held in the Federate States of Micronesia.
