E-commerce Business Training: Niue, Tonga and Vanuatu

About the Project

The PIFS E-commerce Business Toolkits are simple, step-by-step, example-based, guides for a hypothetical business wishing to explore the use of online tools to sell products and services in a given industry and a given geographical context.

As part of the PIFS E-commerce Business Plus Program (PIFS E-Biz Plus) in Niue, Tonga and Vanuatu, the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) has delivered a one and a half day business training workshop in the three countries in November 2024.

‘Promotion and training’ is the second step of the PIFS E-Biz Plus. It involves a promotion of the benefits of using the toolkits and workshops or webinars that walk entrepreneurs through the toolkits and provide additional guidance on how to apply the information to their specific business. Following the workshop, trainers video record their course for businesses to be able to access them later on online. This material will be freely accessible to Pacific businesses on the eCove Community:

  • Niue
  • Tonga
  • Vanuatu

Through this project, PIFS delivered three hybrid workshops simultaneously held in Niue, Tonga and Vanuatu.
