Kiribati National Financial Inclusion Strategy

About the Project

The Kiribati Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, in collaboration with UNDP and UNCDF, is developing the National Financial Inclusion Strategy 2025–2027 (NFIS) to support digital transformation and improve access to financial services across the country. The NFIS 2025–2027 outlines coordinated actions to expand financial inclusion, enhance digital payment systems, and address barriers faced by underserved groups in Kiribati.

This project is an initiative under the Pacific Digital Economy Programme supported by Australia, EU and New Zealand.
