Pacific E-commerce Database

About the Project

The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS), the Pacific Community (SPC), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) collaborate to collect and consolidate e-commerce statistics in the Pacific Data Hub, and provide a simplified snapshot in the Pacific E-commerce Portal.

The first public version of this “regional collection, production, compilation and dissemination mechanism for E-commerce statistics” was launched in August 2022. After the launch, the Pacific E-commerce Database included 37 indicators on the e-commerce ecosystem in the Pacific. Today, users can find 56 indicators.

Works continues to improve the availability of e-commerce statistics in the Pacific.
